Bangladesh cricketers are returning to private practice from Saturday, August 8, after the Eid holiday. Practice again from Saturday, Tamim in a 14-day quarantine.

The practice will start at different venues in the country under the management of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). However, Bangladesh’s new ODI captain Tamim Iqbal is not joining the practice.

Due to going to London, Tamim Iqbal will have to stay in quarantine for 14 days. Tamim Iqbal went abroad for treatment. Tamim Iqbal left the country on July 25 for treatment.

After treatment, he returned to the country on the morning of Eid on August 1. The Bangladesh opener has to stay in the voluntary quarantine till August 14.

However, BCB chief physician Debashish Chowdhury said the cricket board was already trying to get Tamim back into practice.
